Description:
The mellow Cotswold stone facade of the Snooty Fox dominates the historic market place of "Royal" Tetbury. The Snooty Fox is all that a quintessential English inn should be. Step through the pillars into the hallway and you discover a bar where the locals sit and chat. A large inglenook fireplace and traditional cask beers on tap complete the scene. The elegant oak panelled restaurant is justifiably popular with local people and residents alike and is renowned for its high standards of service and cuisine. The chef deserves a special mention. Guests will find his award winning (One AA Rosette) menus imaginative, utilising only the finest ingredients. The lovingly restored public areas are steeped in history and are full of antiques and fine oil paintings depicting the hotel's long association with the Beaufort hunt. Light meals are served in the comfortable surroundings of the bar and a wide selection of fine beers and cask conditioned ales may be enjoyed. AA "3 Star".
